TUSUR signs an agreement on the cooperation with Ruselectronics

TUSUR has signed an agreement on the cooperation with Ruselectronics  for the training of highly qualified human resources for the state corporation enterprises, joint projects and R&D works.

The country’s major LED production plant is planned to be built in Tomsk next year’s spring. Simultaneously TUSUR will be training specialists that will be working there.

Starting 2010 TUSUR and Scientific research institute of semiconductor devices, a part of Ruselectronics, has been working on the new class of LEDs, with 160 lm/w, previously unheard of in Russia.

“Our technical and technological solutions will be used at major Tomsk LED devices producing plant. We can already talk about the results of the cooperation: during the work on the project the employees, postgrad students and students of TUSUR were able to get over a dozen patents on inventions and useful models.  For instance, recently our employees managed to get patent on LED structure, that allows for more bright and even lighting”, said  Aleksandr Shelupanov, TUSUR Pro-rector for Research.
