Representatives of Israel Holding “Merkhav” Work in Tomsk Region

A delegation headed by Vice-President Mikhail Mirkin will visit a number of agricultural enterprises of the region with a presentation of its technologies during three days, November 11-13. “Merkhav” deals with designing, production and integration of a whole range of manufacturing technological lines. The most interesting direction for Tomsk Region, as Deputy Governor for agroindustrial policy and management of natural resources Andrey Knorr said at the meeting with Israeli company’s representatives, is getting to know the company’s experience in development of technologies on reconstruction of dairy firms, construction of dairy mini-plants, fish breeding and fish-processing lines.

During the meeting with the Vice-Governor “Merkhav” agreed to furnish a commercial offer for supplies of fish canning line till the end of November. It can be interesting for Tomsk regional consumers’ association planning to create production of fish cans. At the new plant, in particular, they will process small mainstream fish species, which our region abounds in. The programme of the visit of the Israeli delegation also includes a visit to Mezheninovskaya poultry farm, where the guests intend to speak on their projects on turkey production and processing. According to Mikhail Mirkin, the holding is ready to help in attracting foreign credit resources for implementation of the project.

Representatives of the Israeli Company will also visit the livestock breeding complex “Dubrovskoye”, goat breeding farm “Prokopyeva”, Agricultural Cooperative “Nelyubino” and so on.
