Tomsk region will reduce the period for administrative procedures in construction

A draft law intended to reduce the period of state review of engineering documentation and of the results of engineering surveys 1.3-1.5 times has been developed in Tomsk region.

At the moment that period makes 45-60 days. New draft project will reduce the maximum period of state expertise down to 45 calendar days for capital construction facilities, for construction of power, heat and water supply networks, for sewage systems, as well as for inter-village and distribution gas pipelines. Period of state expertise of dwelling houses and results of engineering surveys prior to submitting the engineering documentation to review will reduce down to 30 working days. In addition, the period of state expertise of engineering documentation and results of engineering surveys with respect to facilities whose construction, modernization and capital repair will be fully or partially financed from the regional budget or by municipal entities is reduced down to 30 days.

Upon claimant's request the law allows extension of the state expertise relating to those facilities. The draft law is currently under assessment for its regulating impact.
