Another four companies to be granted the status of SEZ Tomsk residents

The Russian Ministry of Economic Development's Expert Council on Special Economic Zones of Technical and Innovative Type made a decision to grant the status of SEZ Tomsk resident to ReaSib, SiberiaSoftProject, SoftInform and Aquatech+. The new residents announced investments of more than 800 million rubles, and going to create over 200 jobs. 

LLC Research and Production Association ReaSib offered the biggest project: the company will invest 366 million rubles into the construction of laboratory and industrial facilities with total floor space of 7.5 thousand square meters at the 5.7 hectares area of Northern Site. The aim of the project is to develop technologies for production of drilling mud additives and then establish pilot production of three drilling mud additives (lubricant, emulsifier and base oil) with total capacity of 10.1 thousand tons a year. In the long term it is possible to expand the production and to manufacture new value-added additive brands and types.

"The petrochemical cluster is developing distinctively at the Northern site of SEZ that allows companies to have a chance to collaborate on optimization of engineering and manufacturing processes. This October the incorporation of the Northern Site reserved area will be completed and as a management company we must promptly create the infrastructure at the incorporated area," Konstantin Kaminskiy, Interim CEO of JSC SEZ Tomsk, informed.

SiberiaSoftProject and SoftInform work in the IT sphere. LLC SiberiaSoftProject was founded in 2006 and possesses a unique experience of project implementation in the sphere of contemporary IT solution development for oil and gas companies. Among the company clients there are Yuganskneftegaz, Samaraneftegaz, Rosneft - STC, Tomskneft VNK, Tomskgazprom, and Lukoil. LLC SoftInform is a homegrown company that designs workflow software since 2007. Both companies already work in innovation and research center of SEZ Tomsk, the resident status will allow them to save money on rental charges and tax bills.

Aquatech+ develops and produces equipment for water treatment and disposal. At the Southern Site of SEZ, the company is planning to build their own office building with total floor space of 2 thousand square meters.

The Russian Ministry of Economic Development's Expert Council also confirmed the SEZ Tomsk residential status of Elecard Devices. The company increased the amount of investments by 128 million rubles for the implementation of a project on the territory of a special economic zone.

Within days, the companies have to complete the agreement on technical and innovative operations in SEZ Tomsk with the Ministry of Economic Development and the management company JSC SEZ Tomsk, after which the companies are granted the residntial status.
