Tomsk Region with the Mono-City Development Fund Signed the Agreement of Development of Seversk

Temporarily in charge of Governor of the Tomsk Region Sergey Zhvachkin and General director of Mono-City Development Fund (Fund) signed the general agreement on cooperation to develop the Closed Administrative- Territorial Unit Seversk (Seversk).

The purpose of agreement is organization the conditions for creation a new jobs and attracting investment to the largest Closed Administrative-Territorial Unit in Russia. That new jobs should not be connect with the activity of local economic mainstay.

The agreement includes co-financing of the Fund the budget expenses for the construction of the infrastructure facilities for realization of investment projects and also supporting investors.

In 2017, the Tomsk Region is planning to apply to the Fund to receive support in the amount of 155.4 million rubles for the construction of two infrastructure facilities necessary for the implementation of the investment project of the LLC Derevenskoe Molochko – Sirniy Dvor - the creation of cheese production in Seversk and whole milk products with a processing capacity of 280 tons of milk per day. The company itself intends to attract from the Fund a loan of 473.9 million rubles.

The investment project envisages the creation of 260 new jobs by the year 2022 in Seversk. Now there is a preparation of applications and study of all details of the project.
