Tomsk Region Governor and Russian Ambassador to Japan to have held Working Meeting in Tokyo

Governor of Tomsk Region Sergei Zhvachkin met in Tokyo with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Japan Mikhail Galuzin.

The Head of the Tomsk Region presented the Head of the Diplomatic Mission Tomsk Region, noting the potential of the scientific and educational complex, enormous natural resources, including renewable forest products, the possibility of a special economic zone of technology-innovative type and other competitive advantages of the territory.

Also Sergey Zhvachkin told Mikhail Galuzin about cooperation between the Region and Japan. These international relations received a new impetus for development after exchanges of visits at the level of governors of Tomsk Region and Tokyo in 2014 and 2015.
