Tomsk Region is in the Top Five Regions Where the Selection of the "UMNIK-Digital Russia" Competition Will Take Place

The Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in Science and Technology (Innovation Promotion Fund) has identified the Tomsk Region as one of five sites where regional selection will take place for participation in the all-Russian competition "UMNIK - Digital Russia".

"The number of winners of the UMNIK program in the Tomsk Region has already exceeded 740 people. Given such activity, the fund management decided to determine Tomsk as one of five sites, along with Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan and Rostov-on-Don, where the selection for participation in the new program of projects from Siberia and the Far East will be held," said Andrey Antonov, Vice-Governor of Tomsk Region for Economics.

The competition is open to students, graduate students, young scientists, innovators, entrepreneurs and employees of high-tech companies aged 18 to 30 years.

"UMNIK" competition aimed at supporting young innovators, has expanded its range. Now you can apply for participation in the programs such as "UMNIK-Neftegaz", "UMNIK-Digital Metallurgy", "UMNIK-Sberbank", "UMNIK-NTI" and others. In addition, the Fund accepts applications for participation in the main competitions: "UMNIK", "START", "START-Digital Technologies", "Corporation", "Development", "Business-Start" etc., explained the regional representative of the Fund Grigory Kazmin.
