State support of agriculture has been increased in 2020

The Governor of the Tomsk region Sergey Zhvachkin, along with the federal authorities, has allocated additional funds from the regional budget for the support of agriculture.
This year 454 million rubles are allocated from both federal and regional budgets for development of dairy production in Tomsk region.
In 2020 the authorities invest 118 million rubles for agronomic works, increasing of ecological compliance level and soil fertility. Subsidies partially cover expenses for growing cereals, grain legumes, oilseed and forage crops, along with potatoes, field vegetables and organic products.
Also, in 2020 117 million rubles are targeted for support of farmers, 109 million rubles - for agricultural cooperatives, 106 million rubles - as a subsidy for paying off loans, taken out before the December 31, 2016.
«This year we will provide farmers with the financial support for more than 1,5 billion rubles. More than a billion of this sum is covered from regional budget», says the Governor of the Tomsk region Sergey Zhvachkin.
