Tomsk Scientists Present More Than Two Hundred Suggestions For Import Substitution

Tomsk consortium of academic and scientific organizations presented more than two hundred R&D import substitution products.

Among the suggestions are production technologies for medicine and medical equipment, small-size induction accelerators for non-destructive testing, microwave equipment for telecommunications and instrument manufacture, ultrasound weather stations, geophysical recorders, and other science-based technologies, instruments, and equipment.

The administration of the Tomsk Region will analyze each of the suggestions together with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Minpromtorg of Russia.

Most of the suggestions with a high level of technological readiness came from the Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radio electronics.  These are R&D products in the sphere of microelectronics, cybersafety, and specialized software.

Also, National research Tomsk polytechnic university is leading by the number of suggestions with products in the sphere of software for oil and gas technologies and laser scanning, new energetics, radio medicine, and new materials and coatings.
