The initial meeting of the Tomsk Region Investment Committee was held this year

On February 1st, the Investment Committee of the Tomsk Region, led by Vasily Potyomkin, Deputy Governor for Economy, Investment Policy, and Property Relations, approved the proposal to establish a working group. The group will resolve any controversial investor issues and prepare draft decisions for approval by the Investment Committee.

Igor Branishte, Commissioner for the Protection of Entrepreneurs' Rights in the Tomsk Region, initiated this effort. He joined the Investment Committee this year. According to the business ombudsman, the working group will increase the efficiency and quality of resolving disputes with investors.

The Investment Committee approved the proposal of Tomlesdrev LLC to allow investors to terminate the investment agreement in case of early achievement of all project performance indicators. This will reduce administrative procedures for recipients of state support and redistribute enterprise labor resources towards implementing new ideas and projects.
