The Tomsk Region Presented the Plan for Development of the Industrial Potential at the Meeting of the SFD Regions

The delegation from the Tomsk Region took part in a Federal Practice placement held by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in Omsk. As part of this placement the regions of the Siberian Federal District presented their plans for the development of the industrial potential for 2024-2026.

The regional delegation consisted of the representatives of the administration, Union “Intersectoral Production Association of Employers of the Tomsk Region”, Industrial Development Fund of the Tomsk Region, managers and specialists of 7 manufacturing plants.

The regional industry sector keeps demonstrating good performance: in the past year the amount of the goods shipped and the works and services performed by the regional businesses exceeded RUB 600 billion, the IPI was 102%, and the manufacturing industries increased by 6.7%.

The machine-building companies are the absolute leaders in the industrial production growth driven by the import phase-out and increased state orders.

The efforts to ensure stable positive trends in production and sustainable development of the regional economy will continue in accordance with our action plan for the development of the industrial potential of the Tomsk Region.
