Tomsk Region participates in the PROCLUSTERS programme of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia

The cluster ‘Nonferrous and Rare Earth Metals’ will be created under the auspices of the Tugan mining and processing plant ‘Ilmenit’. The cluster will include six regional industrial enterprises, which will implement five joint import-substituting projects.

The PROCLUSTERS programme of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade is implemented by the Institute of Knowledge Economy under the auspices the Association of Clusters, Technoparks and Exclusive Economic Zones (EEZ) of Russia.

The programme provides comprehensive support to regional management teams, focusing on enhancing their capacity to effectively leverage state support mechanisms, develop cooperation and attract investments.

At the end of the programme, the Tomsk Region team will present a project for the creation and development of the Tomsk industrial cluster ‘Nonferrous and Rare Earth Metals’.
