09.07.2012

According to the Region Department of Finance, as of July 1, 2012 the revenues of the Region budget totaled 21,252.6m rubles and expenditures 18,748.7m rubles. In the middle of 2012 the Region budget has a surplus of 2,503.9m rubles.

The year-to-date execution of the revenues against the plan for the year is 54.1% and expenditures 47.7%.

As Aleksandr Fedenev, Head of the Region Department of Finance commented, "The surplus is the result of early transfer of federal money to the Region budget and overpaid profit taxes of around 1 billion rubles from a consolidated group of taxpayers. A portion of the overpaid amount was refunded in June. The remainder will be returned in the third quarter. This surplus has enabled us to reduce the debt load of the Region budget from 25.4% as of January 1, 2012 to 17% as of July 1, 2012."
