Tomsk Region will get 188m rubles from the federal budget for small and medium business development

Tomsk Region will obtain more than 188m rubles from the federal budget in 2012 for small and medium business development. Last year 141,6m rubles were allocated from the federal budget for these purposes.

The Russian Ministry of Economic Development held a session of the competition commission which selects Russian entities applying for subsidies from the federal budget for small and medium business development.

The application by Tomsk Region got the score 73. Penza Region got the maximum score – 82. Compare the scores of Moscow and St. Petersburg regions – 24. The commission decided to allocate 188.2 rubles to Tomsk Region.

The money will be spent to support startups and active small and medium innovative businesses, subsidize the local budgets aimed to support startups, develop the Center of Cluster Development, Center for Export Support of the EuroInfoCorrespondent Center, develop youth business, etc.
