Today There Opens an Office of Commercialization of Developments of Research Institute of Cardiology

Today, November 6, at 4 p.m., Deputy Governor for science and education and innovation policy Aleksey Knyazev and Director of RI of Cardiology of SD RAMS, Academician Rostislav Karpov will open an office of commercialization of scientific developments (Shevchenko Street, 24, 3rd floor) of the RI of Cardiology.

The aim of the office is to engage institutes included into the structure of Tomsk Scientific Centre of SD RAMS in preparation of new competitive medical developments and technologies for their transfer to high-tech sectors of economy as products in demand on the market.

RI of Cardiology of SD RAMS carries out scientific research in almost all topical directions of modern cardiology and successfully implements joint scientific projects with colleagues from USA, Israel, Italy, Germany, Belgium, France, Great Britain, Switzerland, Austria, Korea, Czech Republic, Poland, etc.

More than a thousand specialists work in the institute, including one academician of RAMS, two corresponding members of RAMS, 41 Doctors of Science, including 19 professors, 113 Candidates of Science, 4 honoured workers of science, 6 honoured doctors of RF, 2 honoured cardiologists of RF. The permanent personnel of the clinic makes up 896 people, 156 of them are doctors, including 5 doctors and 55 candidates of science, 59 doctors of higher and 21 — of the first category.
