Tomsk Region Getting Ready to Sign an Agreement with JSC “Russian Railways” for 2014–2018

Vice-Governor for Industry and fuel and energy sector Leonid Reznikov held a meeting of the working group created for implementation of the agreement on interaction and cooperation between JSC “Russian Railways” and Administration of Tomsk Region and Administration of Tomsk.

Its participants were deputy head of the Western Siberian railroad for Kuzbass territorial department Sergey Makarenko, managers of Western Siberian railroad, departments of regional administration and administration of Tomsk as well as representatives of JSC “Federal Passenger Company” and JSC “Kuzbass-Prigorod”.

The working group examined preparation for signing the agreement on interaction and cooperation between JSC “Russian Railways” and administration of Tomsk Region and Administration of Tomsk for 2014–2018. The agenda was related to development of industrial parks, in particular probable places of adjoining of railroads from industrial parks to stations Tomsk-Severny and Kopylovo, as well as development of the railroad junction in the area of Asino station. Special attention was paid by the working group to provision of passenger traffic both long-and short-distance, as well as motor road infrastructure as regards safety and capacity of railroad transfers.

The sides came to the decision on joint formation of the volume of railroad traffic for 2014 and provision of non-loss activities of the suburban company in the territory of Tomsk Region; they also agreed on increasing the volume of freight dispatch from Kuendat station till the end of the year.
