RUB 10.5 million have been allocated to support the business-projects on wildling processing

A total of 21 business projects participated in the competition. According to the decision of expert commission, 17 Tomsk companies were included into the list of subsidies receivers under the regional program "Development of wildling processing in the Tomsk region".

According to the terms of agreement, money can be used for offsetting some expenses (not more than 50%) on purchasing the process equipment for primary and deep processing of wildling. Maxim subsidy per project makes RUB 1.1 million.

"It is one of the most efficient forms of support in the Tomsk region: winners shall invest RUB 16-20 per one budget rouble", noted A.Knorr, Vice Governor. - The program supports the wildling packers in the remote provinces of the Tomsk region, allows processing of berries, mushrooms, nuts, herbs in place and thus produce more qualitative products".

Subsidies this year will be provided to entrepreneurs from Tomsk City, from Molchanovsky, Asinovsky, Verhneketsky and Tomsk districts that procure new process equipment (refrigerators, driers, packing machines, mushroom cutters and other modern equipment). The project on manufacture of special equipment for primary processing of wildling was also among the subsidy winners.

Thus, we stimulate entrepreneurs to change over to new equipment, help them to procure qualitative equipment and modernize their plants", noted A. Knorr.
