The Tomsk region passed "control purchase" of ASI for introduction of the Investment Standard

ANO «Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects» has monitored the result of introduction of the Standard of activities of the bodies of executive power of the subject of the Russian Federation on the provision of congenial investment climate in the Tomsk region.

During "control purchase" experts of ASI assessed the quality of work of "one window" for investors, a straight line, an investment portal, existence of infrastructure for placement of investor objects.

The simulated situations showed in practice operability of the Tomsk specialized organizations for attraction of investments and work with investors (OJSC «Development Corporation of the Tomsk Region», LLC «Tomsk Agency of Attraction of Investments»). Experts noted the sufficient competence level of staff of these organizations, also design, depth of information and qualitative content of the investment portal (http://www.investintomsk.ru/) in two language versions (Russian, English).

The Regional Investment Standard includes the top 15 investment practices used by the most economically successful regions. The Standard refers to a basic set of requirements that, if fulfilled, would help boost regional investment inflow and build an infrastructure for efficient communication between business and local authorities. The Standard sets forth a package of measures designed to raise regional investment appeal, protect investor interests and enhance the transparency of the entrepreneur support system. The assessment by business of efforts of the regional authorities on execution of requirements of the Standard is the cornerstone of introduction of the Standard.
