On November 3 "Mezheninovskaya Poultry Farm" LLC of Tomsk commissioned a new logistics center in the settlement of Svetly; the center will double the number of daily shipments of goods, according to the RIA Tomsk correspondent from the opening ceremony.
The logistics center was opened in the settlement of Svetly in the suburbs of Tomsk. According to the information from the company, it was built for 11 months. The total area of the center is more than 1.6 thousand square meters. Four shipping terminals and 27 men work on the basis of the center. The total sum of investments in the project amounted to about RUR 180 million. "We visited this place a little more than three years ago and, to be honest, had not very pleasant impression: depression, and unpleasant odors. It's great that the production standards come to our agricultural enterprises.
As a governor I am pleased with the fact that the company develops. And the most important is that the product quality improves, and these technologies work for the benefit of the Tomsk citizens", - said the head of the region Sergey Zhvachkin at the opening of the center. He added that with the opening of the center the number of products of "Mezheninovskaya Poultry Farm" will increase in the Tomsk region, as well as in the other regions. In particular, Mezheninovsky products are sold in St. Petersburg. According to the companys data, the opening of the logistics center became the final step in achieving one of the main objectives of "Mezheninovskaya poultry farm" to increase the volume of production of the highly processed products from 600 to 1500 tons per month. Organized within the center, the product addressed storage system increases the volume of daily shipments from 20 to 50 tons per shift. "Mezheninovskaya Poultry Farm" was founded in 1999 and is one of the leading enterprises for the production and processing of meat of broiler chickens in the territory of Western Siberia. The production complex of the poultry farm includes 60 production facilities. The range of products includes more than 250 kinds of products.
