Tomsk Region And “Inter RAO” Will Develop a Program of Support And Development of Suppliers

A working meeting was held in the Administration of the Tomsk Region with representatives of the “Inter RAO” Group of Companies as part of the implementation of a road-map to expand the use of products and technologies of Tomsk enterprises for Inter RAO.

Industrialists, scientists, representatives of authorities of the Tomsk region and the business development fund, attended the event. The parties agreed to develop a joint program to support and develop small and medium-sized enterprises in the electric power industry for Inter RAO production facilities.

In addition, participants discussed the involvement of Tomsk enterprises, research institutes and universities in the innovative activities of Inter RAO within the framework of the road-map for the development of scientific and technical cooperation, signed in August 2019.

Following the meeting, representatives of Inter RAO noted the high scientific, technical and production potential of Tomsk organizations and suggested options for the development of cooperation.

“Tomsk Region is actively interacting with Inter RAO within the framework of two road-maps and joint projects, which we intend to develop further. In addition, the energy holding company is already using competitive products of Tomsk enterprises introducing innovative developments,”said Igor Shaturny, Deputy Governor.
