A Resident of the “Seversk” Priority Social and Economic Development (PSEDA) is Preparing to Launch the Second Stage of the Cable Production Manufacturing Project

The “Severskkabel” company, which made a contract with Atom-TOR in May of this year on carrying out activities in the “Seversk” PSEDA in the Tomsk Region, is preparing to launch the second stage of manufacturing cabling and wiring products.  A few days ago, a rent agreement for additional industrial premises of 1330.6 square meters was signed.  Employees of the company have started cleaning the territory of the future production facility, mounting electrical wiring and hiring new personnel.

The commissioning of the new production facility will allow the company to increase the production up to 6000 km. of cabling and wiring products a year.  According to the company management plans it will facilitate the completion of one of the strategic tasks – an extensive inclusion of LLC “Severskkabel” into supply chain of government and corporate clients, in particular, for the purpose of the government defense order.

The main production site of the company, with an area of 5 361 sq. meters, launched during the first stage of the project’s development is also located on the territory of Seversk.  The production established there is currently functioning successfully, delivering its product to consumers both on the domestic market in Russia, and to the post-Soviet countries.  The investment phase of the second stage involves purchasing and launching a high-tech production line before the end of 2022 and attaining the line’s projected capacity – before April 2023.

According to the approved business plan, the project is supposed to attract almost 30 mln. rubles of investments and create no less than 39 new jobs
