Tax Break for First Time Entrepreneurs Extends to 2024

The regional Duma of the Tomsk Region has passed a bill, which states that first-time individual entrepreneurs, who apply a simplified taxation system or patent taxation system can expect “tax breaks” till January 1st, 2024

The bill applies to first time individual entrepreneurs who engage in certain types of business activities.  Initially, since 2015, the activities in question were production, social and scientific spheres, later consumer services were added, and this year – temporary accommodation services.

The reduced rate of 0% can be applied from the day of state registration of an entrepreneur for no more than two fiscal periods.
