Tomsk Farmers To Receive Support For Producing Oil Crops

The government of the Russian Federation has made a decision to allocate additional funds in the amount of 4.8 bln roubles for stimulating production of oil crops in the current year within the framework of the federal project “Export of Agribusiness Industry Production”.  These funds are to be distributed among 43 regions.

The Tomsk Region will receive around 30.5 mln roubles.

The decision will allow the farmers to keep profitability of production, soften the consequences of logistical restrictions, as well as prepare for the next season in terms of purchasing area-specific seeds and fertilizer.
