Vladimir Mazur Authorizes Creating Regional Unified Industry Support System

On July 26, at the meeting of the headquarters on support and the future of development of industry the acting governor of the Tomsk Region authorized creating a unified system of support for manufacturing enterprises.

In the Tomsk Region today, there are 11 enterprises which are on the federal list of systemic enterprises, and 83 are included in the regional list.

As of the five months of 2022 the economy of the Tomsk Region remains in the “green” zone.  Manufacturing grew by 4.6%, surpassing the national index.

Among the leaders of growth are manufacturers of ready-made metal products (274.5%), specifically, OOO ZKPD TDSK, Tomskiy Zavod Electrotechniki,  OOO Zavod Metallokonstrukziy EleSy, OOO Samusskiy Sudostroyitelno-Sudoremontniy zavod, and others.

There is also growth in computer production, electronic and optical goods (158.5%), electrical equipment (130.9%), wood processing (111.2%), metal industry (106.1%), food industry (102.3%).

Several business support instruments is offered on the regional level.  For systemic organizations there is compensation of the interest paid on loans.  Seventy million rubles have been allocated for that.  15.5 million more is set aside for reimbursing the expenses on purchasing equipment.  For investors, who realize projects on the territory of the region, subsidies are offered for reimbursing interest paid on loans, for expenses on technological connection to networks, as well as tax breaks on real estate tax and enterprise income tax.

Following the results of the headquarters meeting, Vladimir Mazur requested that the profile departments activate the work with the federal center in terms of signing new special investment contracts and bring up to date the issue of decreasing the time it takes state corporations to pay for the goods produced for them by Tomsk enterprises.
