Tomsk region to enhance business and cultural cooperation with India

Vasily Potemkin, Deputy Governor of the Tomsk region for investment policy and property relations, and Nord Imperial LLC representatives discussed the activity of the company in the Tomsk region under the new economic conditions in the extensive anti-Russian sanctions.

Vasily Potemkin expressed gratitude to his Indian colleagues for their friendly attitude to Russia and intention to keep on with their activities in the region, as well as shared the plans of the Tomsk region to broaden the spectrum of business cooperation with India. Saket Gupta, CEO of Nord Imperial LLC, supported the idea of Deputy Governor and assured his assistance in closer ties with the Embassy of India in Russia.

The parties touched upon the idea of arranging the “Indian Business Day” for the companies potentially willing to cooperate with the Tomsk region. This event would let Indian companies obtain the best information about the working conditions and current investor support mechanisms in the Tomsk region.
