Tomsk region to develop clusters for attracting investment

Creation of industrial clusters is a promising direction to ensure the inflow of investments in the region.

Tugansk Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise “Ilmenite” is to be a foundation for cluster “Non-ferrous and rare-earth metals”.

The cluster appearance in the region will result in the new industrial and logistics chains, which will unite suppliers of raw materials and manufacturers, thus, reducing production costs for all parties.

In addition to the cluster approach, the region has ample opportunities to form new cooperative chains in various industries, as well as to commercialize the scientific developments of Tomsk universities, which can be used to create new products and build new innovative enterprises in the region.
