As a result of the programme, a Tomsk Region team headed by Anastasia Shevchenko, Deputy Head of the Regional Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, will present a project for the creation and development of the Tomsk industrial cluster ‘Nonferrous and Rare Earth Metals’

On 22 March, during his working trip to the Tomsk region, the Head of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Anton Alikhanov, together with Governor Vladimir Mazur, visited Tomsk enterprises in the field of radio electronics.

On 21 March, during a working trip to the Tomsk Region, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Andrey Yatskin and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov held a sectoral meeting in Tomsk on the creation of a Russian industrial cluster of microelectronics and unmanned technologies in the region.

According to the 2024 results, the volume of investments in the region's economy totalled 185.1 billion rubles, which is 36.6 billion rubles more than a year earlier.

The second multiindustrial fair "Vietnam Expo-Sibir" will take place on 21-23 September, 2018 in Novosibirsk.

XV China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair will take place on 10-13 October, 2018 (Guangzhou, the People’s Republic of China). 

October 3-4, 2017 in Tokyo will be held the V meeting of Russian-Japanese Business Dialogue (Japan) on affairs of the development of small and medium business.

In September, 2017 Tomsk Chamber of Commerce and Industry organize a business trip with Tomsk enterprises for participating in Summit for the development of Russian-Iranian cooperation on September 20-22, 2017 in Mashhad (Iran).
