03.02.2023

On February 2, at the online all-Russian meeting of Andrei Belousov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, and the regions’ representatives, the issues of implementation of the national project “International Cooperation and Export” were raised.

The Regional Exporting Standard is a system of 15 mandatory instruments to ensure the best possible conditions for the exporters and to boost the growth of non-resource non-energy exports. The Standard comprises standardized approaches to set a favorable export environment in the region and to promote goods and services to the priority markets.

In 2022, 60 constituent territories of the Russian Federation started implementing the Standard. 15 regions, including the Tomsk region, have successfully coped with the task.

The priorities of the regional export policy were outlined at the meeting. They included the creation or promotion of regional brands, competence building of regional teams, support for small enterprises in entering marketplaces, and active development of federal support measures.
