Tomsk investment team familiarizes with the management methods from the neighboring regions

Delegation from the Tomsk region paid a working visit to the Omsk region during RANEPA educational program “Managerial skills - development of regional teams”.

Management teams of the Irkutsk region and the Republic of Altai also participated in the event designed to implement the regional investment standard. The key topics of the meeting included the arrangement of cooperation with investors in the regions and their support methods.

The regional teams discussed the practice of implementing large-scale investment projects, including for solving social problems in the area improvement and displacement of population, using “mechanism 1704” to compensate investors for infrastructure development and other tools to support investors. The participants exchanged approaches to drafting regional laws on investment tax deduction and regional planning.

All management teams emphasized that the interregional visits are especially valuable not only for experience exchange but also for strengthening horizontal braces among the regions.
