Tomsk region introduces the regional investment standard
The regional investment standard is a new support system for investment projects developed by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia.
The standard is based on the best regional practices of cooperation with investors and is designed to improve the efficiency of interaction between the investors and the authorities.
Its 5 components include an investment policy statement, an investment committee, an investment development agency, an investment map and a code of investment rules (algorithms for the investor’s actions during project implementation).
The introduction of the standard may improve the situation with the utility hook-up, reduce administrative barriers, thus making the process of passing through the stages of project implementation seamless for the investors by streamlining all procedures.
